Hi, I'm Andy
I'm the person behind AOC Window Cleaning, based in Ferndown, Dorset. I've been cleaning windows for over 39 years, I'm confident in every aspect of the job, and I still take real pride in leaving every property looking its best.
I'm a sole trader, so when you book with AOC, it's me who turns up. I'll send you a text the night before so you know I'm coming, do a thorough job and treat your home with respect. Many of my customers have been with me for years — those long-standing relationships mean the world to me.
One thing that sets me apart is my water. Rather than filling up at public sites like most window cleaners, I produce my own pure deionised water through my own filter system in my own unit. It means I control the quality, and you get a consistent, streak-free finish.
Where it started
I started with an apprenticeship 39 years ago. At first I was only allowed to use a scrim, before being taught to use a squeegee properly and to work safely on ladders at height. Squeegee work is how I was originally trained, so it's still available where a job calls for it.
Whatever the weather
Rain doesn't stop a pure-water clean
People often ask if there's any point cleaning windows in the rain. With a water-fed pole and pure deionised water, there is. Pure water has no minerals in it, so it dries clear without spots. Rain on top of a freshly cleaned window simply runs off and dries clear too.
So unless it's blowing a gale, I'll be there as planned. You won't have to rebook every time the clouds roll in.
