My method

Water-fed pole, with traditional skills to back it up

I use a water-fed pole, which lets me clean safely from the ground. Pure water scrubs away dirt and rinses frames as it goes, then dries naturally without streaks or spots.

I'm also fully trained in traditional squeegee cleaning — it's how I was originally taught — so it's available where a job calls for it.

I always use my own deionised water, produced in my own unit — so I know exactly what's going on your windows.

Rain or shine

Supervised by the client's dog

Pure water leaves no residue, so light rain won't spoil the finish. I keep working in all weathers and only rearrange when it's very heavy — even if I've got an audience.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I have my windows cleaned?

My regular service is every 6 weeks, which keeps most homes looking their best. If you only need the odd clean, a one-off clean is just as welcome.

Do I need to be home?

No. As long as I can get to the windows (side gates unlocked, for example), I can clean while you're out. I'll let you know when I'm on my way.

Can you clean windows in the rain?

Yes, usually. Pure water leaves no residue, so light rain won't spoil the finish. I'll rearrange in very heavy weather.

Do you clean inside windows?

Yes. I'm happy and confident to clean internal windows too — just ask when you book.

Will I know when you're coming?

Yes. I send a text the night before to let you know I'm coming.

How much does it cost?

Every property is different, so prices depend on size, number of windows and access. Send me a few photos of your property on WhatsApp or through the contact page and I can often give you a price straight from the pictures — no need to wait for a visit.

What customers say

“I can't recommend Andy of AOC enough. He is a genuinely lovely chap who does a very thorough job of cleaning windows. Competitively priced, good communication, honest, trustworthy and reliable. I've had him complete regular window cleans on 2 houses as well as full deep cleans of gutters and soffits. You will be surprised how much difference a clean to your windows makes to the look of your property.”
